THE ASK
Universal Technical Resource Services, Inc. hired me to redesign the organization and visual treatments of one of the largest safety reporting systems used in the country. This system is referred to as the WBAT Safety Platform. This tool's primary purpose is to supports the submission, analysis, review, resolution, and management of reports. The type of businesses that are required by law to file safety reports include all airlines in the US and any transportation services on land in the US. A few of their clients include American Airlines and FedEx. This platform was a bit behind the times and needed to become accessible across multiple devices as well as comply to handicap usability regulations.
THE SOLUTION
I designed and delivered a user centered responsive website and design system. The design is specifically created to keep pilots, ground crew, and airplane occupations up to date on the status of their safety reports. This site is part of a larger customizable design system that enables UTRS to change the user capabilities, data and report variables without changing the whole user experience.

Designed in Adobe XD, Tested with Web Export Plugin, CSS delivered within Zeplin App, and style guide created in Illustrator.
